Open Door Family Medical Centers

We are currently recruiting for volunteers for the Reach Out and Read program in Port Chester. Our volunteers often perform our most important tasks, such as hosting book drives, building book shelves, and most especially reading to our children in the waiting areas.  Volunteers are provided with generously donated books to read aloud and dispense among the various eager children whom most often would not have such an opportunity like this but in the waiting room of Open Door. Before starting, volunteers are asked to complete an application and attend a brief orientation.
Please let us know if you have any questions or would like more information about our program.
